1. About this Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how The Luxury World Ltd ("TLW", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on theluxuryworld.com. It also explains the choices available to you.

This Policy should be read with our Privacy Policy. References to cookies include pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, software development kits and other technologies that store information on, or access information from, a device.

3. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on a device when a website is visited. Some cookies are deleted when the browser is closed (session cookies), while others remain for a defined period (persistent cookies). First-party cookies are set by the website you visit; third-party cookies are set by another organisation whose service is used on the website.

4. How we use cookies and similar technologies

We may use these technologies to:

  • make the website function and remember privacy choices;
  • protect forms and services against spam, fraud and misuse;
  • measure visits, page performance and user journeys;
  • understand which properties, developments and content are of interest;
  • embed video, maps and other third-party content;
  • measure advertising and create retargeting or interest-based audiences;
  • improve website design, content and marketing effectiveness.

6. Technologies currently intended for the TLW website

The table below describes the services TLW has indicated it may use. Cookie names and durations can change when providers update their products or when the website configuration changes. The production website must be scanned before publication and this table must be aligned with the actual deployed technologies.

7. Consent and cookie controls

On your first visit, the website should present a clear choice to accept all optional technologies, reject non-essential technologies, or manage preferences by category. Rejecting optional cookies should be as straightforward as accepting them.

Strictly necessary technologies may operate without consent where they are genuinely required for the service requested or for security. Analytics, advertising, retargeting and non-essential embedded-content technologies should not be activated before the required consent is obtained.

You may change or withdraw your choices at any time using the "Cookie settings" or equivalent link available in the website footer. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

8. Embedded content

Pages may contain maps or videos supplied by Google, YouTube, Vimeo or another provider. Loading or interacting with embedded content may allow the provider to receive your IP address, device information and usage data and to set or read cookies. Where appropriate, we will use a consent-controlled placeholder so that optional embedded content does not load until you choose to enable it.

9. Advertising and retargeting

With your consent, TLW may use advertising technologies such as Meta Pixel to measure conversions, understand campaign effectiveness, create custom or lookalike audiences and show relevant advertising after you leave our website. The advertising platform may combine information from our website with information it holds under its own privacy terms.

You can refuse the advertising category in our cookie settings and may also use the privacy and advertising controls provided by the relevant platform.

10. Browser and device controls

Most browsers allow you to block, delete or restrict cookies. Browser controls may not prevent every form of local storage, pixel or server-side measurement. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent parts of the website or enquiry forms from working correctly.

11. Do Not Track and similar signals

Browser-based signals are not implemented consistently across the industry. Where a legally recognised universal opt-out signal applies to our operations, we will assess and honour it as required. The most reliable way to control TLW's optional website technologies is through the cookie-preference control.

12. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Policy when technologies, providers, legal requirements or our practices change. The latest version will be published with a revised update date.
